Institutional Capacity Building Committee of ARABOSAI: The 24th Meeting

As part of its efforts to strengthen institutional audit practices and enhance capacities in financial and accounting audit, the 24th meeting of the ARABOSAI’s capacity building committee began on Sunday, November 3, 2024, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The committee, which includes representatives from member SAIs, with a representative from the INTOSAI Development Initiative, is discussing a number of important items aimed at improving audit efficiency at both regional and international levels.

The meeting's agenda includes several key topics, most notably the review of the 2024 training work plan and the assessment of the remaining parts of the 2023 plan. Additionally, the committee is examining ARABOSAI’s participation in various regional events, such as the Intosai Regional Coordination Platform (IRCP) meeting in Romania and the seminar on supporting the independence of SAIs held in Morocco.
